After the success of her first foray into seasonal comedy last December, Bette MacDonald returns with a new show aptly titled Tis The Season 2. The new show will tour the province starting in Mabou on December 5 and will finish on home turf at the Savoy Theatre in Glace Bay on Friday December 19th. The show plays at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium on Monday December 15.

Last year's version of Tis The Season, sold out two shows at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium and as one critic described the experience: "MacDonald and Morrison deliver and deliver - wonderful characters, hilarious stories of holiday fiascos .... alternating between a fever pitch of comedy .. and serious, intimate performances of classic winter songs" (Stephen Pedersen, Chronicle Herald) .

Bette and husband, Maynard Morrison accompanied by long-time musican/arranger Ralph Dillon, bring with them a broad array of familiar characters who present their unique take on the so-called happiest time of the year. The evening promises lots of laughs and a range of seasonal music both traditional and original.
